Regular readers of this column will know how much I love my pink gadgets and gizmos so it should come as no huge shock to you all that I’ve found yet another for you to feast your beady little eyes on!

I love it when designers turn their eye to tech related products, and it just so happens that Stella McCartney has done just this by creating her own range of computer sleeves. She has teamed up with LeSportsac who already have their own hugely successful range of bags in various designs.

Stella will be making a limited edition set of ‘Lifestyle’ collections and one of these will be a computer sleeve like the one pictured above along with a few other styles including Purple Grey Solid, and Purple Grey Quilted.

This rather odd looking device is a 2.5 inch Hard Drive enclosure, nothing special there, but this enclosure has a nifty little trick up its sleeve – fingerprint recognition!, if the security of your data is important to you then this device is definitely for you.

This 1GB MP3 player is not that perfect. It has a flaw with its ear buds when it comes to strenuous activity underwater. Anyway, for a fair price of $110 it is not that bad.

The Dolphin doesn’t look like your ordinary MP3 player. It looks at lot like a case used for storing pills with a dimension of 2.4 by 0.8 inches. The surface of the player is silky with a brushed-in metallic finish that is flawless in texture.

One downfall of this product is the absence of a screen display. The giveaway of this product being an MP3 player is the features on both ends of the player. In one end there is the embedded headphone jack which is around 2.5 millimeters in diameter. The jack has ridges around the opening which allows the headphones that are included to be screwed producing a watertight connection. This is a cool feature compared to other waterproof devices that have rubber flaps to make it waterproof which actually if used in the dolphin would make it ugly.

The accessories that come with the Dolphin are two rings that are rubberized that allow the device to be attached to a pair of goggles. The waterproof “earbuds” that are provided also have clips that allow the wires to be attached to the goggles. An optional armband can be purchased which is well suited for surfers. You can also buy a case made of hard plastic, a splitter for the headphone and, amazingly, also a thermometer attachment.
