Sleek New HD Camcorders from Panasonic
Panasonic has just released two fabulously HD camcorders to the public market: the HDC-SD5 and HDC-SX5. Both cameras record full HD video in AVCHD format with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and use the professional broadcasting features of the 3CCD camera system to record true-to-life color, amazing details and excellent playback on a large screen HDTV.

Recorded video can be saved in AVCHD or DVD-Video formats for playback with Blu-Ray or DVD players. Unsteady hands while shooting? No problem, Panasonic features AOIS (Advanced Optical Image Stabilizer) to minimize handshake in both of these sleek, new camcorders.
Both the SD5 and SX5 record to SDHC/SD Memory cards and the SX5 has the additional feature of DVD disc recording. The SX5 records up to 180 minutes on an 8GB SDHC card and 60 minutes on a 3-inch DVD-R dual-layer disc. An additional feature of the SX5 allows you to record internally from the memory card to a DVD without connecting to your PC.
The HDC-SD5 will go for $999.95 and the HDC-SX5 will run you $899.95. Both cameras will be available in September 2007.
