Get Into HSDPA Mobile Broadband Network
After several months hearing how 3G network would improve high speed mobile broadband connection, T-Mobile, devoted to improve the company mobile broadband service since a while back, has launched the first HSUPA mobile phone network in the UK. T-Mobile is a branch of Deutsche Telekom AG that operates T-Mobile International in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and overseas in the USA. HSUPA stands for high speed upload package access, a broadband service that otherwise was only available for business subscribers. However, almost anyone can access the high speed broadband network taking advantage of a variety of affordable data packages which, some of which do not require a phone line to operate.
The HSUPA mobile broadband network sticks to 3G connectivity, hence anyone can simply use USB mobile modem stick or mobile modem into a computer to gain access to the Internet. T-Mobile provides already Orange Mobile Wireless Broadband that doesn’t require a phone line to surf the web and cost only £15 per month on an eighteen month contract, with no connection or landline charges.
T-Mobile expects a great response from the average users that require both mobile connectivity and increase Internet speed, specially when it comes to download rates, boosting up to 7.2 Mbps. 3G USB cards and USB modems are increasing sales and market presence around the world so T-Mobile’s HSUPA mobile broadband service will be soon available in other countries where this international company has offices.
Current customers are switching to this new service, according to a carrier’s press release announcing the new service. According to this information, about 25% of its customers are moving to its 18-months basic HSUPA broadband plan, and offering new mobile packages guaranteeing the minutes allowance in the market.
“This guarantee underlines our commitment to providing unbeatable value for money and making life easier for our customers. Our research has shown that consumers are confused by the sheer number of price plans out there and frustrated by contracts which only offer short-term value,” said Jim Hyde, Chief Executive of T-Mobile.
“This latest major reduction in data roaming rates has become possible because of the growing maturity of the mobile data market,” explained Hyde, “The rapid expansion of high-speed HSDPA networks, the proliferation of 3G-enabled handsets and the increasing use of mobile email and internet access have caused data traffic volumes to accelerate, to the point where data traffic exceeds voice on T-Mobile’s UK network.”
T-Mobile offers three USB modem sticks to access the HSUPA band, and each of these gadgets can simply be plugged into any PC or laptop to surf using the high speed Internet service. The unlimited super fast plan is being offered by £10 per month for the three first months, and £15 afterwards. The USB modem sticks do not require to approach any hot spot to surf the World Wide Web and you can obtain a pay as you go plan as well. Otherwise you can try the Web’n'Walk USB modem which offers 3GB and 10GB data transfer packages, access when traveling abroad and is a Mac OS compatible gadget.

Satellite broadband internet access is slowly getting a larger share of the internet market. The services offered by satellite internet are comparable to land based broadband internet services, however, satellite internet service is more widely available because it is delivered via satellite instead of via a landlocked cable system. The three most popular satellite broadband internet service providers are WildBlue, HughesNet and StarBand. Each of these service providers can help you get linked up, but each provider has limitations on what they can deliver and who they can serve.

I received and set up a TMobile broadband modem the other week. First thing I would say is how very simple and quick it actually is to get up and running, it really can be just 5-10 minutes from opening the package to being up and running.
I did find that at my home address the broadband speed I received was very slow (but as I won’t be using the mobile broadband from home this isn’t that bad), I ventured out to test it and the signal strength soon increased. Obviously the speeds you get are not like standard home broadband but then mobile broadband customers currently are nto going to generally be wanting to download videos, it will be for those who need the Internet while away from the office. I can see mobile broadband quickly becoming more main steam and already this year dongle sales have doubled from what they were at the start of the year.
