Introducing Gigabyte Netbook M912V Tablet
There is not doubt that the mobile market is taking over by new and enhanced ultraportable computers such as the new Gigabyte Netbook M912v Tablet, officially announced this July 2008 and about to be released sometime this same month for about $699 USD. The Netbook M912V Tables shares some of the characteristics seen in other ultraportable notebooks already released, including Acer. However, Gigabyte is offering with this model a unique feature not commonly seen yet in small mobile devices: a 8.9-inch swivel LCD panel with WXGA resolution up to 1280×768, that has not only LED Backlight and touch screen, but also can rotate 180 degrees, certainly one of a kind screens for computer belong with the new generation of portable devices.
Gigabyte Netbook M912V Tablet is built with the new Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor and Intel 945GSE chipset boosting great performance. With this Tablet, Gigabyte is including a 2.5″ 160GB 9.5mm S-ATA Hardrive, which is not only considered a decent storage facility, but twice the size of many laptop’s hard drives still available on the market.

Upgrading to a full featured version of Microsoft Windows Vista is possible, although performance may decrease if memory is not aso upgraded in at least 4GB for optimal capability. However this can be possible by using a 4-8 USB memory stick or, otherwise, choosing Genuine Microsoftw Windows XP or Linux operating system as told before. As Gigagbyte refers via its official M912V’s press release, this Netbook has a versatile fashionable design with a silver/black exterior and an innovative technology.
