China’s Vii Steals Everything about Nintendo’s Wii

There have been months of speculation about the Chinese rip-off version of Nintendo’s Wii Game Console and it seems that the copycat cares little about direct comparison, as evident by the barely disguised Vii moniker.
China’s Vii has taken the design of the remotes and console of the Wii and created a very close knockoff. Why mess with something when it works, I guess, is the back story here. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
The pricing of the Vii Console is unknown at this time, but it looks like it is already being used in a nice Chinese family’s household, according to this YouTube video. The kid goes wild and crazy over beating his mom in a competitive game of “Catch Fish”. Other entertaining Chinese-to-English titles include “Alacrity Golf”, “Fry Egg” and “Fever Move”. Check out other videos for further proof of the Vii’s existence.
