Play With Your Friends: Wii Music Coming Soon

Music games are all the rage these days with games like Guitar Hero, Rock Band and the classic Dance Dance Revolution scoring big points with the gaming set. Now, Nintendo’s Wii joins the craze with the unimaginatively titled “Wii Music” game.
A player can play solo or team up with up to three friends using Mii characters to play up to 40 different musical instruments. Each player uses either the Wiimote or Nunchucks to control the game by pressing buttons in time with the music.
North American and European release dates are not yet known, but Wii Music is due for shipment in Japan in 2008. Check out a sneak peek of this music game in the lo-fi video below.
