Philips Senseo Latte Select in Pink

Coffee makers started off relatively simply, and as time has passed they have evolved and got more and more elaborate, meaning that one machine can make a whole host of different varieties of coffee with relative ease. The last innovation in coffee makers was the Philips Senseo which allows you to purchase pre packed pods from your supermarket, slip them into one of their machines and moments later you have your chosen coffee in perfect form, no mess, and no fuss.
Now Philips is launching the Senseo Latte Select, which in essence is much the same as a standard Senseo machine but now features a built in milk tank, allowing you to now make cappuccino, latte macchiato, or cafe latte whenever your heart desires, better still the milk tank cleans itself at the touch of a button, the only problem is the rather steep price tag (approx £140) still it looks nice and it comes in PINK!

I have also searched high and low to find it for the US, even contacting Philips. Twice, a representative from the company has only said “if and when it becomes avaliable in the US, check back on our website.” LAME. I’ve considered buying it on an international eBay site, but then realized it runs on 220 volts, which would require re-wiring my house. GAH! Anyone know when it will come to us?

I got the same response from emailing Senseo. A voltage converter would be an option, but not the safest one, I would think!
I keep checking with relatives in Holland, but so far no one has one. The price is still steep.
I have thought about going with Tassimo…
