Twilight Umbrella and Philips ‘Heart Ware’ USB Memory Key

I’m from the UK and with all this rain we’ve been having here during these so called summer months this next gadget could prove to be very handy!

This is called the ‘Twilight Umbrella’ you can get it on PrezziesPlus and it is definitely one of the craziest but coolest gadgets I’ve seen in a while! The umbrella itself is black, with a silver lining. It has little LED lights set into the top of the umbrella and via a control on the handle you can choose to set them to twinkle, stay static or leave them off altogether (Which would be a bit pointless if you are going to buy it though wouldn’t it). It requires 3x AAA batteries although I’m not quite sure how often you would have to replace them.

I really like the idea of this product, the only thing I would say against it is that you would only really create a dramatic effect with it if you were using it at night time, during daytime even if it were cloudy the lights would be visible but not as good as they would be if it were completely dark.

It’s still a great novelty item, but maybe not exactly practical for everyday use!

Next I’ve spotted this beautiful ‘Heart Ware’ USB Memory key on the Philips website.

Philips and Swarovski have teamed up to create this stunning little USB key which not only stores your files and photo’s but also makes a great item of Jewellery! Wear it as a necklace and you’ll definitely not leave the house without it.
It has 4GB storage for large data files, has fast data transfer with high-speed USB 2.0 and you can store up to 250 songs and 1000 photos.

It comes with a specially designed pouch and a complete easy to use software suite with full instructions for those who aren’t quite as technology savvy.

This would make a great ‘Geeky Gift’ to a loved one instead of giving her a regular necklace; this one actually has a function AND looks great! Swarovski are one of this summer’s hottest jewellery items too so this product really couldn’t have been released at a better time!
