Ho-Ho-Hot Item: Sony Deep Red PSP Released in December

Sony has announced that it is launching its ever-so-popular PSP in a new shade of Deep Red come December. There’s not much to say about this ruby beauty except that it looks good enough to suck on, like a cherry-flavored lollipop. This should be a hit with all kids whose favorite flavor of candy is ‘red’.

Released in two different varieties, the Deep Red Sony PSP includes an accessories package consisting of a pouch, strap and cleaning cloth. One version comes with a 1seg digital TV tuner and 1GB Memory Stick Prod Duo with stand and the standard garden variety has no stand and a mere 32MB stick. The shocking color and scarlet hued Playstation Portable will only be sold in Japan as of this writing. No word on pricing for the crimson king of PSPs.
