HTC Touch Dual Officially Launched

HTC Touch
As promised, HTC has officially released the HTC Touch Dual for the European market. Originally known as the Nike, the Touch Dual is available on the Orange network and will be shipped out later this month to the UK, France, Romania, Poland and Switzerland.

Adding to the phone’s previous bag of tricks, the new HTC Touch Dual incorporates an auto-sliding keypad and 3.5G HSDPA connectivity. Packing a whopping WCDMA talk time up to 240 minutes (360 minutes on GSM frequencies), the Touch Dual uses the TouchFLO interface integrated with Windows Mobile 6 Professional and a 2.6-inch QVGA touch screen. The interior electronics house a 400MHz Qualcomm MSM7200 processor; 256MB flash, 128MB RAM and microSD expansion; Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, HTC ExtUSB (HTC’s mini USB 2.0 jack with support for data and audio).

Note the lack of WiFi connectivity. What were they thinking?
