Should I buy the Nintendo Wii, the Playstion Move, or the EA Sports Active 2.0 Bundle for the PS3?Question by Anthony A
nintendo sportsI really want to buy the Wii. Basically for the Wii Sports and the Wii Sports Resort. I’m a big fan of sports video games, and the last time I played Wii Sports I had a blast. And the Wii only costs 0 and it comes with the Wii Sports AND Wii Sports Resort. Plus the Wii Fit plus if I want to get that along with it. But I’m already a Playstation 3 owner and the Playstation Move is coming out this fall but I think its kind of a rip off of the Wii and its controllers. So I wasn’t too fond of the Playstation Move. then there’s the EA Sports Active 2.0 Bundle for the Playstation 3 which is also coming out this fall. I’m just not sure which would be the better fitness game, the Wii Fit or the EA Sports Active 2.0 Bundle.

As a Wii owner, if your looking for FUN more mature games w/ HD get yourself a Ps3.. if your looking for all around like hardcore, casual ( fun for everyone) and some where in the middle like exercising games get the Wii as it covers the biggest base on gaming. Though it may not have the fancy features the other consoles have, it still can do. Right now , and for the next while the Wii will rule on motion-sensing, because it has the most support right now and PS move will have to catch up.
(By the way, EA Sports Active 2.0 is also coming out For Wii, and you can always pick up for the first.)
Here are some scenarios:*MONEY*The problem is, you already have a Ps3 for money purposes, I’d just get PS EYE and then the two controllers or what ever you need. The problem with that ( like I said), you won’t get too many games supporting it right away. it is more “advanced” but weight loss games don’t need it to be that advanced.

*Money not being a problem*You pay 0 for your Wii and you get Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. you already have a Ps3 so if you ever wanted HD you can go back to your Ps3. Now you have a Wii you have acess to:
Wii Fit, Wii Fit 2, EA Sports Active (1) , Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2009 and a few weight loss motion games. What’s great is that you have much more access to these games. This is what the PS3 lacks of at the moment. plus you could always take a break and try something fun like Mario Kart, or Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda etc.
These are just things to think about. any one saying the Pҁ motion sensor will “destroy” Wii is not thinking straight…. Wii’s PRIMARY device is the Wiimote( motion sensor from the start) and has sold over 70 million copies.
PS3 on the other hand, despite it’s great quality of tech has sold only about 35 million+, HALF of the Wii, and motion control is an ACCESSORY, not primary.
When game developers want to make new motion control games, they’d rather make them on the Wii then the Ps3. Just so you’d know, regardless of the “tech”. Ps3 motion sensing is mostly for added function to Ps3 exclusives like the new SOCOM, and maybe a few excorcsing games here and there. Real motion sensing games ( like Epic Mickey or Golden Eye) was kept on the Wii.
I don’t mean to diss another console but sometimes common sense needs to be brought into play.
