New Biz Laptop from HP: Compaq 6820

While the world is in no dire need for yet another business notebook, Hewlett-Packard enthusiastically adds an affordable, top-rated machine to the plethora of choices for your home or office needs.

Based on the Santa Rosa platform, this 17-inch laptop uses the Intel PM 965 chipset and hits you with Core 2 Duo T7500, T7250 or T5470 processors. The HP Compaq 6820 has a matte or glossy screen resolution up to 1440 x 900.

Supporting up to 4GB DDR2 RAM, you’ll get connected wirelessly with 802.11a/b/g/n. The 6820s also include three USB ports, VGA output, ExpressCard slot and a Secure Digital slot. Pricing starts at $999 for the 6.5-pound laptop.
