Portable cellphone booth: A Cumbersome, Great Idea

Here’s an ingenious device for all people obsessed with spending inordinate amounts of time on the phone. This should be a mandatory accessory for talkers who blabber on and on for more than 12 hours per day. Nobody really wants to hear strangers screaming out the intimate details of last night’s escapades or the scoop on the latest deal as you’re standing in line for a sandwich or waiting for the subway.
Nick Rodrigues, a Boston-based artist, has created this cellphone booth to provide the modern, excessive user of mobile technology with a little public, portable privacy. Cumbersome, awkward and silly it may be, but the artist is really on to something. Check out the video for live action footage.
