The Axolute sink
Fancy bathroom and kitchen suites aren’t exactly a new thing, one pops up every five minutes on the internet, but of those only the very finest innovations actually grab our attention.
Spread movie download The Axolute sink is one such sink, the design is both minimalistic and futuristic, but its looks aren’t the clever thing here, notice how the basin isn’t attached to the cupboard below? That’s because it features what the designers call “Horizontal Integrated Siphon technology” which essentially means it has a horizontal drain pipe instead of a vertical one meaning as long as you have plumbing in your walls it could be placed anywhere on your bathroom walls.
The only thought I have is since there is no plug hole and hence no plug, do you have to keep the tap switched on to keep water in the basin? Or is there so simple way of keeping your water in, also personally I like to have a nice deep sink for washing my face etc not sure this would suit me, but if you’re in the market for something to wow your friends this could be it.
