Twist, Bend and Stretch: Electroluminiscent Lamp Lets you Play with it

Here’s a very cool electroluminiscent lamp that i would personally love to own. Its organic form and neon plant-like shape combined with its interactivity makes it a perfect soothing and friendly lamp for home environments.

The ETree, designed and produced by Nimblecritters (a UK company), comes in tabletop varieties like the one pictured above as well as a floor version (click here and here to see them in action in flash video). The floor lamp has ten light-up branches and the tabletop lamp has five, all of which can be rearranged to suit your fancy at any time.

The cost of the ETree floor lamp might send you flying through the roof (£1000 - appx. $2068 USD) but the tabletop lamp goes for a more reasonable £360 (appx. $745 USD). Buy them directly from NimbleCritters.
