Nikko Creates R2-D2 Web Cam, Projector and Lightsaber Skype Phone

The good folks over at Nikko Japan know how to tickle the funnybones of Star Wars fans and make them cream their, er- coffee. While everyone’s going nuts today over the Jesus Phone, let’s get back to Intergalactic Space and reveal what’s really important.

Yes, fans and friends of Star Wars… the wait is over. Now you can add an Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber Skype phone, an R2D2 Wireless Web Camera and the R2D2 DVD Projector into your arsenal of geekorama electronics.

The R2D2 DVD Projector projects DVDs with a slot-loading, integrated CD/DVD player. Your petite, metal genius friend uses a USB port, includes an iPod dock and displays photos and video. Additionally, a smaller version of R2D2 is available as a Webcam with the ability to take still shots as well as capture video.

The Skype phone Lightsaber replica lets you use the force while protecting yourself from the Darkside.
