With the iPod and the iPhone – Apple has essentially sewn up the MP3 market and anyone wanting a top quality portable music player need look no further, but what about the other manufacturers? Well they really have to put a hell of a lot of effort into making their individual players stand out with new features and stunning looks, and that is where the new Mintpad fits in.
The Mintpad from Mintpass (which is made up of a group of ex iRiver employees) is really trying to maximise the gadgets potential, at its heart it is a standard MP3 player with everything you would expect, but it also features a 1.3mp camera, Wi-Fi for browsing the net and a 3 inch touch screen which brings us to its coolest feature you can make your own post it style notes using the stylus and then send them to other Mintpad users via the Wi-Fi connection, I just hope it takes off so there is someone to send the notes to!

microSD slot for more storage
30 hours of music playback
5 hours of Video playback
The Mintpad is set to be released in Korea first, and will be approx £100 when it is released.
