Voyager Set to Rival the Almighty iPhone in Time for Holiday Cheer

Ho-Ho-Holy crap, the Holidays are coming. Wait…it’s only October, we still have time to ignore forced gift-giving and fabricated merriment! Not so, says Verizon, LG and Samsung. What contains the spirit of the holidays more than an all-out manufacturers’ war against the iPhone?
Voyager
Verizon has teamed up with LG to create the Voyager, an iPhone-like handheld device that includes touchscreen, Web browser, speedy data servicing, a 2MP camera and up to 8GB storage (via memory card). What differs from the iPhone is the inclusion of a flip-open QWERTY keyboard and secondary screen on the Voyager.

Just so the Voyager doesn’t feel left out, alone in the cold and snow on Christmas Day, Samsung will be releasing the Juke (which opens like a pocket knife and has a wheel controller for music) and LG’s Venus (with one touchscreen, one display screen and a numeric keypad slider), sometime around Thanksgiving. Pricing is unavailable at this time.
