Fuwapica Interactive Technology Illuminates Your Environment
Can you feel the calm, low hum of soft lighting and emotive color? Fuwapica table and chairs set is going to blow your mind. These seemingly benign pieces of furniture have the power to reflect the environment and enhance the mood of the people who use them.
Fuwapica interactive technology interprets its Japanese translation “soft and flashy”, to describe how its furniture changes color using weight sensors, reacting to a seated body on its soft surface. Fuwapica technology includes thought and emotion into the mix, adding a roundtable centerpiece featuring a computer, LCD display screen and light sensors that connect the four inflatable chairs as one communicable unit. When an object is placed on the table, the color of the chairs alter to complement the object and the color of the chairs adjusts to match.
Fuwapica interactive technology will be featured at SIGGRAPH 2007 in San Diego. Although the company is continuing to develop its technology, the Fuwapica Honeycomb is available immediately for around $3,520 and Ice chairs for $1,510.
