Rumor : Samsung is Out to Get Reinforcements from Armani ?

While we admire Samsung’s innovations in cellphone designs such as : slider, thin factor and dual mode system (GSM and CDMA, both active), we should point out that Samsung missed a very important trend.

It’s all about design now! And Samsung handsets are pretty lacking here. Just compare Samsung E590 designer phone to LG Shine. Even it’s latest touchscreen model Samsung P520 looks pale next to LG Prada KE850. And we haven’t yet mention the iPhone.

Looks like Samsung decided to do something about it and enlisted Giorgio Armani for the design of their latest electronics, reports Yonhap News Agency:

“We are now in talks with Armani to work together in making premium goods such as mobile phones and televisions,” a Samsung spokesperson said, declining to comment further.

If not for the Apple’s iPhone, LG Prada would have been touted as a revolutionary phone design of 2007 . Let’s see if Samsung Armani phone will be as impressive.
