Haven’t had your yearly physical examination lately? USB experts, Thanko, have a mid-July release date on a state-of-the-art USB powered microscope. The Nandemo Microscope comes with four separate attachments to get closer than you ever wanted to be to different parts of your body.

Thanko includes a standard attachment and three additional attachments for intimate views of the interior of your ears, skin and hair follicles. Ready for your close-up? This 1.3 megapixel CMOS sensor with 640 x 480 VGA resolution camera has adjustable LED lighting that really gets up close and personal. The Nandemo Microscope comes with included software for viewing and saving still images and video that, presumably, you could send to your doctor if you’re out of town and develop a nasty rash that needs medical attention, STAT.

Compatible with Windows 2000 Professional/XP/Vista, the Nandemo Microscope sells for 12,800 Yen (a little more than $100).
