USB Bracelet

Cables are ugly, let’s be honest, so anything manufacturers can do to improve them is welcome, now designer Laurent Hongisto has stepped into the gadget market with his own take on the humble USB cable.

Hongisto has come up with a concept where the USB is wrapped in a more attractive colourful polyurethane cover, and can actually be worn as a piece of jewellery, they feature a USB A to mini USB cable, allowing you to hook up various devices such as your mobile phone, but to be honest I doubt many people will actually buy the item, nor wear it as an item of jewellery – nice idea though, let’s hope someone comes up with some better ideas to make our cables more aesthetically pleasing.
